This product feels very cheap, the wire is very thin, and not much protection on the tips. It has done it's job so far, but I have purchased a better quality product at that Famous _Bay action site for the same amount.
Just not worth it.

I used this to connect my iMac (PowerPC G5, circa 2007) to my Denon receiver (AVR-3200, circa 2000). This allows me to use my iMac/ITunes as my music server playing on my home stereo.
The output jack from iMac is a dual output (works either with standard 3.5mm audio pin or mini-TosLink connector). This allowed the music delivery to happen digitally to my Denon and using DAC of Denon, resulting in super smooth music without any loss/interference.
As soon as I connected the mini-Toslink connector to iMac, it recognized it and started putting all the audio thru that jack! Talk about plug-and-play.
This cable is worth every penny, many times over!

I agree with other reviews. You cannot beat the price and the sound quality is full digital. But the connectors fall out easily. Tried it on a few different devices. Stays well in my Samsung TV. Falls out of my Sony AV receiver, Onkyo AV receiver, and Pioneer DVD player. Well (Amazon) after several years of buying stuff I was sent the wrong item I went to the invoice followed the instructions and they sent the item 2nd day air
I got the correct item before I had time to send the wrong one back
Here I am again this morning shopping again rather than going out in traffic
