I have a Huawei Ascend android phone and one of its few downfalls is that 2.5mm headphone jack. After trying Best Buy, Radio Shack, Guitar Center (i was desperate) and a few other places I finally found the correct adapter here at Amazon. If you have this phone. This is the correct adapter. I have an LG enV 2 and this allows me to play it into standard headphones and to play it into my home stereo using the common RCA adaptor. I purchased a Nokia E71 through Amazon several weeks ago and the audio jack is 2.5mm. I own a pair of Sennheiser CX500's (also purchased through Amazon) and needed an adapter to use them with my new phone, so I purchased this one. Actually, this is my 2nd purchase. I lost the 1st one somewhere in the gate area of the airport terminal in Spokane, WA. But, that's another story. The fit is snug, but not overly so, and the L-shaped form is considerably more plesant than the annoying protrusion of standard designs. It has 3 rings, which is compatible with my phone, but judging from some of the other reviews, may not be with all phones. The sound is clean and clear and doesn't hinder the performance of my earphones at all. I really have no criticisms, only, I wish the cord was as short as it appears in the picture. It's about 5" long. Not a bother, really, just a personal preference. In any case, there isn't much one ought to be able to say about an audio adapter other than it works, and for $3 this one does nicely.Digital camera Review: Great Deal!!!
