Liked the look and feel of the remote for "older" hands and fingers and simplicity. However, it would not program for our Sylvania. Called Sony and the young woman had me clear it and start again with the 1- 4 # program code and then search, etc., which I had already done, but you never know when you miss something. No success and she stated that it won't program on some TV's. Had to send it back.Digital camera Review: Click a few numbers and it works....

So I have a perfectly good television in front of the treadmill. Problem is that the remote stopped working. The TV is 18 years old afterall. So I bought this to replace the remote. I looked up the code for the TV on the included paperwork. The first match worked for my TV and now I have a working remote again. Works as advertised.Digital camera Review: Easy to use!

I purchased this remote control for my mother who has some difficulty seeing and also has Alzheimers. She finds the remote control easier to use because the buttons are big enough to see versus the remote that came with the television. It was also fairly easy to program initially. I would recommend it for anyone with compromised eyesight or anyone who has a difficult time pushing the small buttons on regular remote controls.Digital camera Review: Even I could set this up.

The remote arrived on time and even I could set it up. The buttons were the perfect size for my Mom who can't see as well as she use to. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.
