I was looking for a docking station with remote to charge my iPod while plugged in to my bookshelf stereo system. This worked perfect! The full function remote makes it nice and easy to skip tracks or pause the song. The power jack is an iPod connector so make sure you get the correct power adaptor. I was concerned when I first took it out of the package. It's made rather cheaply. But thats to be expected for the price. As I said, it works just as advertised.Digital camera Review: NOT FOR IPHONE

This is not designed to work with the iPhone 3G, so they shouldn't list it as such. It charges and syncs, but every time you dock your iPhone, you get a message saying that this product is not made for the iPhone. And none of the adapters fit an iPhone 3G correctly. For the price, and depending on the use, a pretty good product. I use it in my office for the remote capability and it does well. I have an external iPod charger plugged in to the back and speakers plugged into the audio jack. The remote works decently, but the connection on the audio jack is flimsy. About a week of use and only one speaker was working, and soon after the connection piece inside broke. On the plus side, I was able to return it for a replacement. Bottom line, for the cost, you are getting what you paid for, but for what I am using it for I would go with something a little more durable.
