Yes it plays music and etc, but the buttons will fail over a short time (poor manufacturing.) I took the thing apart and found that the solder leads are all screwed up and short out when the button is pressed rendering the device a peice of junk. I guess thats why they are so cheap!

This MP3/4 player comes brand new in the retail/gift packaging. It has a bright 65K 1.8" TFT screen and is smaller than a credit card! There is 2GB of built-in Samsung memory that holds approximately 500 songs. The 3.5 mm earphone jack works with all other MP3 and Ipod accessories. There is a built-in battery that uses a USB cable (included) to charge. No bulky charging accessories needed. This player also plays video (all formats), has a FM radio, voice recorder, picture viewer, and e-book reader. There are 7 equalizer modes so you can enjoy whichever type of music or video that you choose. This MP3/4 player can also be used as a USB jump drive to transfer or store files. With the voice recorder (includes built-in microphone) you are also able to record FM radio.
