Digital camera Review: Above average screen protectors.

Like one of the other reviewers I wasted one of the protectors by trying to reapply after not doing a good job of centering it. The protectors I recieved had two tabs--one saying front, the other back, so there was no confusion. Peel off the back tab, center as best you can and starting with one edge slowly curve it down onto the screen, then peel off front tab. On my second try I had almost no air bubbles(included card removed those remaining). Wearing latex or plastic gloves when applying also helps to eliminate fingerprint smudges if you accidently touch the underside when applying. This little accessory protects your Nuvi screen. It works and looks nice. A couple of caveats. Be advised that the part that goes on the screen is NOT the part with the little sticky handle on it. One reviewer was unhappy that this handle is impossible to get off cleanly. True but irrelevant -- that is the part that is the cover. The part that you put on your screen is the other part to which the cover is attached. The directions could have been clearer about this point. It is also not instantly apparent which side goes against the screen although obviously it is the slightly sticky side.
Once you get the above figured out, this little transparent screen protector is a nice addition to the Nuvi, and I would recommend it to everyone. I got just about all of the little bubbles out, excepting two little ones, and you cannot see them when the screen is on anyway. You can barely see them when the screen is off. It is nice to know that there is no danger of scratching your Nuvi's screen. I love my Nuvi and am certainly willing to spend a few bucks to protect it.
I recommend this accessory.

My wife already has the Garmin 265WT and I just purchased one for my daughter. The install was easy, but take note of the previous reviewers who said FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. If you can read, you can do this. The little soft card was tricky because I used it to push out the bubbles. At first, it looked like it was scratching the cover, but it wasn't. Just follow the note: Don't press too hard. Start from one edge and slowly work your way to the other. The film fit perfectly and I didn't have to trim it.Digital camera Review: Excellent Product

I purchased this item for a Garmin 765T GPS unit, it works great. Perfect fit and functionality. In addition, I used a second sheet for my pocket pc. It looks like I purchased a new screen. I've used it for several weeks with no signs of wear marks or scratches from the stylis. I definetly reccomend screen protectors and these are the best I've used for the price so far. Just got this installed and it does look nice. I think there is a little more glare as one reviewer has also noted. Will check it out tonight in the vehicle. I got these from SF Planet and on the envelope there was a web address given. Went to the web page and there were very detailed instructions as well as a picture on how to install. Glad I read it because I overlooked the numbers on the blue and red tags (#1 and #2). My eyesight isn't what it used to be! Peel off #1 blue tag - apply to device - smooth out with credit card - peel off #2 red tag - Done! It was real easy. Time will tell as to how long they will last, but I sure can't complain about the price. Took about 4 days from time of order to receive. No complaints with SF Planet.
