Digital camera Review: OK, but not as tough as I had hoped for

Protecting the Nuvi screen is a good idea, and this device does the job on my 265wt. But the protector itself can easily pick up marks and scratches; it doesn't seem to be all that tough. My kit did not come with a card to smooth out bubbles, so I used a credit card. This is not a good idea; the edge of the credit card left visible marks on the protector. To avoid that result, I recommend putting the supplied cleaning cloth on top of the newly-installed protector, and then using a credit card to push bubbles from the center to the edge of the screen. With the cleaning cloth serving as a buffer between the screen protector and the credit card, no scratches or marks will result.
Do not be alarmed if a few bubbles remain visible after installation; they will probably disappear within a few days.
The Nuvi touch screen requires a fair amount of force in order to respond, but at least the screen protector doesn't add noticeably to that "feature".

Previously had tried the universal fit screen protector from another source and it was a bother to cut and fit and apply....
This was perfect and installed in 30 seconds without reading the instructions... and allows the gps touch screen to function perfectly !

(Those of you that had issues - are you sure you used the screen protector or one of the TWO protectors that protected the screen protector ???)
Could see where that could happen - the real screen protector is sandwiched between two THIN tabbed films.... just an fyi..... :)

Product works as expected, does not leave a residue on your screen when removed. The only negative was a minor. The protective sheet is sized so closely to the screen area that I found it a bit difficult to apply it without getting air bubbles. These sheets wipe off easily, and I would recommend them, but I also suggest trimming apx. 1/16" to 1/8" from one short side and one long side of the sheet before removing the backing card. Trimmed in this manner, the sheet still protects your entire touchscreen, and this makes initial application easier.Digital camera Review: Quality Product, went on perfect the first time!
