Digital camera Review: IT WORKS!

Pros: IT WORKS. Exactly as advertised. It functions fine on all the devices I have tried it on so far (iPod Touch 2nd G, iPod Nano 3rd G, iPhone 3GS). It has a great price, much better than paying around thirty dollars for Apple's proprietary wall-charger. It has a very handy retractable unit for the main cord, pretty helpful for vacations and such.
Cons: Cord is pretty short. The retractor can sometimes be an annoyance in that it is prone to jam itself, which isn't difficult to fix, nor uncommon, just annoying. The construction of the product feels ever so slightly fragile, although no breakage or failure has happened to me yet.
Bottom Line: This is a solid product, it's worth what you pay for (which is next to nothing by the way). If you want to make the smart choice and not fork over all that extra money to Apple. If you want an affordable charger that works, this product is for you.

As stated, my charger works. Although, initially, I thought it didn't b/c I couldn't connect it. Finally, after not really seeing that as a major complaint in the negative reviews, I realized the issue was not the charger. Basically, the iPhone end of this charger is larger than the standard Apple one. Therefore, the edges do not clear the Otterbox Defender case I purchased for my phone. As I am VERY happy with my Otterbox, I won't be using this charger. This issue aside, I can see how this would not be a charger for long-term use. It's very flimsy and cheap. The cable itself feels like one good tug would snap it quite easily. So, long story short, if you have the popular Otterbox Defender case, which I highly recommend, this is not the charger for you.Digital camera Review: Worked for a little bit

It doesn't cost that much so thats a pro. But it fails at it's main purpose--Consistently charging the iphone 3G--. It was very haphazard. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. And finally it just stopped working. Digital camera Review: Great Product.

Good functional universal usb charger unit for ipod range of products. Using it to charge my ipod classic 160gigs and works great. Looks cheap, but then it is cheap! I would recommend this product to a friend.
