Due to using the computer at work & at home, I developed a horrible case of wrist and finger pain. It got so bad, I literally could not use my old mouse. After reading reviews on Amazon, I dedided on the 3M mouse even though most people said it was cheaply made.
Within a few days of using the mouse, my wrist & hand pain disappeared. Now one month later the mouse took a two foot fall from my keyboard tray to the floor and it snapped where the handle meets the base. I plan on using some superglue so I can get back to work. I may even order a 2nd mouse as a back up. Even though it's cheap, it works wonders to keep the wrist pain away.
If 3M would strengthen the plastic joint where the handle meets the base, they could create the perfect ergonomic mouse.

I'm at the computer several hours a day and I've tried several other mouse options over the years but nothing truly would let me work for long periods of time without wrist and hand discomfort. My only option that helped was to have the ability to mouse with either hand, so i would switch every so often. I then read something about this 3M mouse and how several people found comfort using it. I ordered the large one and have been using it for a couple months now. It does relieve discomfort and stress on the wrists. This ONLY works with the right hand however which I feel is a drawback. I have big hands and find the large version of this mouse a bit small, my small finger get sorta squished onto the top of the mouse base and sometimes I mouse keeping this finger stretched out.
This the best mouse I have found so far as to relieving stress on the wrists. It takes a period of time to get used to using it. The device seems well constructed and the switches work well. My only real complaint is I wished they had a larger size even.

I have been using mouse for work, 8 hours a day 5 days a week for the last many years. I was looking for a product that could make my wrists feel more comfortable. This veritcal mouse lets me keep my wrist in a comfortable position while using the mouse. This mouse causes significantly less stress to my wrist and fingers than a conventional mouse. I brought the large size, but I wish if there was an extra large size.
At first, it took a few hours to get accustomed to it but after that I have been very comfortable with it.
