I really didn't believe these would work and they do! I still have a few "treasures" left on VHS but did not want to buy a new VCR/DVD recorder (is that even possible these days?) just for that. But, my old machine wouldn't read anything faster than 4x for the blank DVD's. As usual, amazon.com to the rescue. I don't know if I just hadn't seen these before (their "start sell" date is 2006), but I've looked in stores and on tech blogs to try to find a blank disc that would work in my old machine. I am extremely happy with this purchase, and the seller Wizo direct shipped very quickly. The first disc out of the hopper is beautiful, and I love the DVD scaled case - not as deep as movie store jewel case, but the same H x W of my other DVD cases, with room to write on the enclosed catalog card or create your own color cover if you're making movie copies.
