I bought this for my mom so we could skype. Super easy installation. The picture is good, not super crisp, but excellent for what we are using it for. You get more than you pay for, but don't expect a perfect high quality picture.
If you can't get it to work with Skype, make sure you have the newest version (4.2 I believe).
