I bought this converter for a lamp I had bought in Turkey. I noticed a funny smell coming from it but figured oh, maybe it's just new. Later that day I looked at it and noticed that it had melted. I'm glad I found it out in time...otherwise maybe it would've caught on fire. This product is a hazard. Do not buy it.
