Digital camera Review: Not nearly as good as the original...

I have a BB Curve 8330 and when my trackball fell out; I decided to buy a pink one this time. I was nervous about the installation but it went in perfectly. The problem is when it lights up it looks very dirty and when it seems to have a mind of its own when you scroll. Sometimes it won't move at all. Sometimes it'll move very slowly. Sometimes it will move in the opposite direction. Sometimes it will click the button even with the slightest pressure from scrolling. Very rarely does it work as well as the original one. It is very frustrating, especially when trying to scroll through a long document or web page. Based on the other reviews it seems that some people love it and have had a lot of success with it and others had similar problems.Digital camera Review: Perfect Replacement! Highly Recommended!

This Trackball replacement worked perfectly in my BlackBerry 8330 Curve. I had lost the ability to scroll left and right so attempted to take apart the trackball to clean it, with marginal results that resulted in intermittent functionality. After some quick checking, this replacement trackball looked like my best option since my "self help" fix attempt failed, and it definitely was.

This replacement trackball restored my BlackBerry to full functionality and likely saved me the trouble of replacing the whole unit or having to take it to a Sprint store for service.

Purchased this item as a replacement for the stock track ball for my blackberry. Installed easily, but the trackball doesn't work very well. I had to replace my trackball after dropping my blackberry for the umpteenth time, and decided on going with this for a replacement. It arrived quickly and worked fine for a few months, but after normal use (but not dropping it again), it has gotten very fickle about scrolling down (left, right and up are fine).
It is much better than no trackball at all, but I wish it performed as well as the original trackball.

i bought 2 of these trackballs the black and purple one n i was soo excited...until i got them!! they sucked soo bad!! BoTH of them stick n i cant drag the ball down to far or it will just stop rolling i was sooo dissapointed...DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!
