Digital camera Review: Awesome IPOD Kit

This all in one kit is excellent. I did not have any problems with the connection of my FM radio to this unit. It was effortless. It sounds and plays very nice. The remote that goes with it turns it on/off changes songs. It is a delight to use this as compared to the half dozen other similiar units I have bought from other manufacturers. I puit it my Mercury Grand Marquis. it fit well in the lighter only because it swivels up and down. I was not able to install it in my Ford truck because it would not fit in that lighter.
I highly recommend it.

"Great product! Solid construction, excellent clarity. Seems to work better at the lower bandwidth ranges, but I got no bleedthrough of station signal driving from the SF Bay Area through Northern CA to Oregon. I have an 80GB iPod and it was held solidly in the holder. A rep. from Satechi emailed me after I received the kit to make sure everything arrived on time and in good condition!"
It sticks out from the socket far enough to get in the way of a floor stickshift/handbrake in a sedan. I use it in my pickup which has lots of room and a steering wheel shifter.

I was not impressed with this product at all. It made all the songs on my iPod Touch 2G sound like an out of tune radio station, no matter what frequency I had it set to. The remote works if you point it directly at the unit, otherwise it doesn't, and the gear that's supposed to prevent the unit from tilting, doesn't. The part that is inserted into the cigarette lighter was broken out of the box, and the whole thing felt clunky. I returned it, and the customer service was pretty good.
I'm really surprised at how many good ratings this thing got. Maybe most people don't mind static, and distorted highs when listening to music?

Satechi 6 in one Car Kit is an outstanding produt as is its customer service. The quality is great, easy to use and set up, no interference even in New York! Even though my original kit had a problem with the charging arm, satechi sent me the replacement for free!. Since that time i drove quite a few miles and had no problem at all. I wish that all sellers would treat customers the way Satechi does.
