Bought this product via Amazon marketplace for $79.99 + shippping. Drive would not format NTFS. Tried on two laptops xp and vista and read all FAQs on Kingstons website. Tried to submit a helpdesk tkt on Kingstons website however the 'Bill of Material' number does not exist (even on the packaging). Called Kingston, they advise that an orginal Kingston product has this number laser embossed on the jack of the drive - this is clearly a FAKE product (Made in Taiwan). Kingston advise that they investigating Amazon on as they've already received a number of complaints and they are using the Kingston brand name. Called Amazon to report this and they advise that the reseller has already refunded my account - before I even made a request for a refund (hmmm sounds a bit suspect!) I would not trust anything under around the $140 mark for this product to be genuine. I have emailed all the resellers under $140 to question if the product they are selling is genuine - will update you on this. I received the item I ordered from ZiroIs very quickly. It looked fine, but I could not format this thumb drive as the instructions stated. I sought help from the brand Kingston, and they walked me through a few troubleshooters. Apparently, since there are no numbers on the connector part of this thumb drive, it is an imposter. I contacted ZiroIs and they sent a replacement very quickly. It, too, was an imposter, but it came formatted and it worked, so I am using it.Digital camera Review: It was a knock off -- Not a legitimate Kingston Product!!!!!

Despite various emails through Amazon's customer service links, I have never heard from anyone at Amazon about this horrible purchasing experience. The product crashed after the initial attempt to use it, and through calls to Kingston's help center, it was finally determined that this was not a legitimate Kingston product. It was missing a key set of numbers in a certain area. Amazon nor the seller (Master of Electronics) ever contacted me, although Amazon did issue a full credit to my account. However, it was extremely disappointing that no effort was made to follow-up on this fraudulent product. I am very skeptical about purchasing anything from Amazon going forward because of this unfortunate experience. Your reputation has been seriously damaged in my opinion.Digital camera Review: It's ok

Just got this drive after purchasing a Corsair 64gb. The Kingston 64gb is smaller than the Corsair but does not come with the lanyard, case or strap. The Kingston comes as pictured. That being said, it's smaller than the Corsair and seems to be approximately what you'd expect a flash drive to be in size. Unfortunately, to get this unit working out of the box, I immediately had to reformat the drive to start copying the 50gb of data that I needed to get to it. In addition, I found the speed to be much slower than that of the Corsair. I'd only recommend this if you're looking for a smaller flash drive where you don't mind the speed.
