On January 20, 2008, I purchased a 6 Gb micro SD card from BlueProtn through Amazon. I wrote some data and the disk worked very well. One week later, after trying to erase and re-write new data, for the first time, the card stopped responding. Different computers froze when I tried to access the device.
I wrote to Amazon who directed me to BlueProtn who directed me to Sandisk. After a few complaining e-mails, Sandisk sent a standard answer, a link to a FAQ session in their website. It was useless.
I tried to contact Sandisk again and learned that my my request was closed, though not solved.
I wrote again and again to Sandisk with no answer.
Amazon says the manufacturer carries the warranty, Blueprtn reinforces it, Sandisk plays dead and I am just the customer who pays for all these crew.
After 60 days, I am so disaponted that I am not considering buying on line from Amazon anymore.
It was a $70 write off. Could be more.

I got this card for my Sidekick LX. I went with a 6GB cause after having a 30GB iPod for so long and never using more then 5GB I decided to just go with my phone as my music player. It works great! I bought this package for my new Blackberry Curve. The card itself and the rest of the accessories it came with are a very nice set of gadgets. 6Gb is quite some room - definitely enough for my purposes. However, the Curve has issues with it. It seems to support this type of cards, but currently offers only 2Gb limit. So, I am using the card as a 2Gb card until RIM comes up with an update for the Curve, so that it can recognize larger capacities. However, I was surprised to find out that even at 2Gb I had not run into a space shortage yet. Of course, I would like to have my 6Gb available to me, but even at 2Gb - it's a great card and enough storage for me for now.
