This worked well for six months, then the cable internet and TV started to play up. Finally the internet stopped working. Cable company came in and replaced with one of their amps, then added 8 port splitter (slightly different setup). I bought this unit because I was getting a weak signal... or at least that's what I thought the problem was. I was seeing a variety of picture quality issues consistent with a weak signal. After installing this unit to replace the passive 6-way splitter I had, I still have the picture quality issues consistent with a weak signal. So I can't say that it's actually working. It might just be the TV. I don't have equipment to test the signal strength or determine if there's something wrong with the TV. But... I can say that it didn't make the picture of the other 5 TV's any worse. Other amplifiers I tried caused the other TV's to have picture quality issues. This amplifier hasn't caused any of those issues.
