Digital camera reviews of AKG Earbuds with Turbo Bass - K12P

Digital camera Review: They Sound Good, But.....
Summary: 2 Stars

...I cannot get them to securely fit in my ears, they fall right out because of their shape. They are round, hard plastic, about the size of a dime. Dang, twenty bucks wasted.

Digital camera Review: nice pair
Summary: 5 Stars

I just can say im going to buy another pair of this until they got out of stock. Nice sounding response..great sound!!.

Digital camera Review: not to my expectation
Summary: 2 Stars

this one i expected quite a good sound quality before i bought reading from
revies but did not make it enough to my expectation after listening comparing with SONY md series even basic MD model...bass is thin and others are quite OKies..treble and mid..less dynamic also...

Digital camera Review: not your typical AKG product..
Summary: 2 Stars

I was really disappointed with these earbuds. The first pair that arrived had problems, one of the buds distorted high pitch sounds and medium to high volume. The new ones that arrived were OK initially, but the distortion problem came about again after a month of use. I'm not using them anymore.
Regarding sound quality, I bought these to have better earbuds than those that come with creative nano plus mp3 players. The stock creative ones sound way better than this, especially if you like to hear some bass in your music. AKG's are ok in mid-tones and trebles.
I've used AKG products before and never had issues. The AKG headphones I use in studio have never caused trouble in the past 10 years. I guess this is their lowest end product, so you shouldn't expect typical AKG quality from these headphones. It breaks my heart to give 2 stars to this item.

Digital camera Review: very good, almost great
Summary: 4 Stars

These headphones are terriffic for the price. As others have mentioned, the sound clarity is pretty good. Drums and piano sound especially good. The included case is a nice little bonus. I've had no comfort or durability issues in about six months of regular use.
Why only four stars? The bass is fairly rolled off, but it's tough to find an earbud with extended bass. To AKG's credit, the bass that comes through is clear and precise. Listeners seeking an inexpensive earbud that delivers solid bass should give the JVC HAFX33 a shot (also sold on Amazon). Overall, the JVC's sound isn't as good as these AKGs, but there is more bass.
I really recommend checking out the Koss KSC75s (also sold on Amazon). These headphones aren't earbuds, but if you can deal with the size of them, they're the best sounding, inexpensive headphones on the market.
Overall, the AKG K12P is a nice upgrade over the earbuds that came with your mp3 player, but the "Turbo Bass" claim may be a bit misleading.
