Digital camera Review: Amazing headphones
Summary: 4 Stars
First off, let me start by saying that these were my first pair of "serious" headphones. I purchased them about 2 years ago, and I have used them almost every day of those two years. Whether it was mixing/producing/recording, computer games, listening to music, watching netflix, these headphones remained extremely comfortable. Too many times have I gotten up from my chair only to realize I forgot to take off my headphones. I've dropped them, stepped on them, spilled water on them, and even yanked on the chord... All of which was accidental, mind you. I'm no maniac.
Regardless, these headphones survived my admittedly careless abuse over the years until a recent accident (which was in no way AKG's fault). The only reason I gave this product a four star is because AKG's customer service was absolutely horrid. After dealing with the typical "Press 1 to listen to an automated FAQ" garbage, I pressed "4" for techincal service. Breaking my beloved headphones was bad enough, but being on hold for 20 minutes, only to be greeted by a(n) (asian?)lady who could not speak fluent English was certainly an experience I do not wish to repat. She was certainly nice, but very hard to understand.
All of that put aside, I purchased another set of AKG headphones and plan to treat them much better. I highly recommend this product. Just keep in mind that the customer service sucks.
