My new 6 outlet backup UPS was easy to install. After allowing it to charge, I tested the unit by unplugging it from the wall outlet. Connected equipment (pc, monitor, router, speakers and printer) continued to function. Would recommend this unit to others with similar loads.Digital camera Review: Works great for the price. I bought this unit at least 4 or 5 years ago, and I am still using it today. One thing to note: The battery died several months out of warranty, and I no longer had my receipt. I called the company to check on a replacement battery. They verified the serial number and apparently felt that the battery had failed prematurely. Long story short, they replaced my battery at no charge, and it has been working ever since. This and other products like it (I also own an APC ES500) do the yeoman's work of keeping your electronics safe. I notice otherwise undetectable power interruptions almost on a weekly basis that are managed by this UPS. It has been a good product and so far, a good company.Digital camera Review: black box

I bought this item because it (or something similar) was recommended by a friend who works for the phone co. that provides my dsl. As far as I know it works. The 4 star rating is just a guess, however I haven't had any problems.Digital camera Review: excellent unit

My garage only has access through the garage door, and when the power is interrupted, we didn't have any other way to open it, my son who works for e-bay sugested we use this product as a back up unit, I made a box attached on the wall and try it, it works well, I try it by opening and closing the garage door ten times with the remote, from the driveway inside the car, I'm happy with it and is not as expensive as to a new door on the side of the house, also I try it from inside the house with the wall mounted opener.
