I, like others, have had multiple problems with my UPS. After just over a year, the battery was useless and my entire system would power down without even a beep from the UPS. The Technical Support was awesome and diagnosed the problem over the phone; the issue required they ship a replacement. I got the replacement and I'm about 3 months into that and am experiencing the same problem as before. I know I got a rebuilt one, per the warranty.Digital camera Review: Not what I thought

Be careful, although this UPS has 8 connectors, only 4 is backed up by the battery, the 4 other is only surge protected. I didn't read the fine print, just saw the "8 outlets" writing.
Also, even though there's plenty of room on the UPS, the outlets are lumbed together so I cannot fit multiple adapters. There's just no excuse for putting them so tightly together. It's annoying and stupid.

Had a blackout a few weeks ago, the APC jumped right in with a seamless transition to battery power, giving me time to shut the computer down.
The one downside was the battery placement was a bit difficult to figure out. Otherwise, highly recommended!

I've had mine for a while now and replaced the battery once. It is still working great and I still think it is a great product.
I use VOIP for my home phone service. Therefore when the power goes out, I need a UPS for my cable model, router, VIOP box, and cordless phone base. Thsi works perfect for about 10 minutes or so even while speaking on the phone.
I used Packet 8 for years and the last year or so have been using Ooma. I have reviews for each of those if your looking.
