The power saver is a must for the home user. You never loose or damage a file due to a power interruption. This unit comes with software to automatically save and exit from applications that are running. It works very good in doing this. THIS IS THE RESPONSE I GOT WHEN I DID A LIVE CHAT TO FIND OUT WHY THEIR SOFTWARE DOESN'T WORK WITH SNOW LEOPARD. Guru: Yes, Cindy, I am sorry to say that there is no compatible Power Chute software available for Mac OS X 10.6.4.

The first unit was completely dead on arrival. APC Chat treated me as an idiot and required two chats to get a replacement. They did not provide a return shipping label until I told them they were not going to get it until I got return shipping. The replacement unit had short battery leads and it was very difficult to connect the battery. Needed to leave the battery in place and connect with needle nose pliers. I have six other APC units but this is the last time I will buy one.Digital camera Review: Does what it is suppose to do.

This product does exactly what it is suppose to do. Its easy to set up and configure. No complaints. Seems like a good product. The battery cables do seem short but it isn't something you have to deal with more then once.Digital camera Review: Does what it says
