I am so happy that I decided on this product for my home office after researching fairly extensively. My son said this is a great company and we've had their other products that always worked well. I was tempted to skimp on the $29 model made by another company. Glad I didn't! This is a great system. Very sturdy, nice looking, and has smart functions via CD. Plus, damage coverage is impressive. In mid Jan I purchased An ES-750VA UPS system. I have had great results with the 500VA UPS and wanted to add robust capability. When we received the new UPS I down loaded the patch for the software and prepared (charged) the system. After eight hours of use I noticed that the printer wouldn't function and while fiddling with the printer the computer turned itself off. I got a little concerned and asked for help. After submitting my request, APC technicians responded and posed some questions and tests that I hadn't thought to perform. I quickly realized after a through read of the operating manual that I had overlooked the possibility of master control turning off components not being used. I would suggest to users to remember this system has new features that older versions don't and when encountering issues to go back to the paper and read carefully. I have changed my review from before and have a system that works well for me. Sometimes an old lesson are too easy to forget.Digital camera Review: GOOD ITEM

I have quite a few UPS from APC and most work fine. I had a problem with one and discovered their Customer Support leaves a lot to be desired. My next UPS will NOT be from APC!
