Basic answering machine, sets up easy, records messages very well, which was my #1 priority. I give it 4 stars only because my recorded message for incoming calls sounds muffled and a little low. The price can't be beat and it does what it's supposed to.
The recorded voice quality is understandable but not great - sort of like a cell phone call.

This answering machine is much better than the GE one bought at a discount store. I had the previous model of this and it was the best answering machine I ever had. When I finally had to replace it I was sadened to learn they no longer made it. This one works great, just not as good as the previous model.
