The phone has a good clear sound and an adjustable ringer volumn which I really like. The only thing I should have purchased one with a removable handset so as not to be tied to the cord. I purchased this phone to replace an existing wall phone and it didn't work out very well. The phone hangs at an odd angle when you reverse the bracket on the back of the phone to convert from desktop to wall mount. The base is at a slight upward angle so if your phone is higher on the wall it is difficult to see the caller id and keypad. It also causes it to stick out more from the wall. The marketing photo only shows it in the desktop position and it actually serves better as a desktop phone. The white phone I ordered also came with a black power cord which doesn't look good. A better option for a wall phone is the GE corded speaker phone with adjustable caller id screen Model 29586GE1 approx. same price. My review is short and not so sweet; this is a piece of junk. There are so many things that can go wrong with it -- just look at the setup manual -- and ours arrived missing a phone cord and with a defective transformer. No dial tone. The 800 assistance number was also a joke. Really -- save your money. This is a poorly made, poorly designed product. I returned it immediately for a refund; you'll be doing the same if you buy this.
