I purchased this phone for our garage, so I did't want to put a lot of money into it. I am pleased with it, the only thing it does not light up the numbers , although it said it was a lighted dial phone. I would recommend this if one does not want better quality. People say this is basic and reliable, and we can attest to that. We're purchasing a replacement for the Trimline 210 that lasted for 26 years! The old one in the kitchen was the main phone that everyone went to first. It survived the handset accidentally being dropped countless times and has worked in every power outage. No bells and whistles, just a reliable, sturdy product that does what it should.
