Takes good clear picture, easy to view on TV or PC. Aiming camera takes a little bit to get used to, aims a little high from where you think your filming. I purchased the action cam for use on my motorcycle to chronicle some of my road trips. It works great outdoors with sufficient light but don't try to use indoors unless there is abundant lighting available. The video cam is very rugged and built to take abuse. Picture quality is what you would expect from a $50 piece of electronics. As mentioned in other reviews the sound quality is lacking. I found that turning the sound off while bike riding is better than having to listen to all the wind noise. I found that the plastic mounting hardware is best used if not tighten fully. The threading will seize very easily if over tightened and breakable can occur if too much force is applied trying to loosen the mountings. I used a dry lubricant on the threads and that seems to help greatly.Digital camera Review: ATC2K CAM

Frist time I used the video cam, I took the kids to Disneyland.
I use it both indoors and well as outdoors. The picture quality was really bad indoors without lighting. Outdoors is fine. For picture, if give it a 4 star. For sound, well that needs to be improved for sure.....2 stars! Sound quality is very poor! It was all "Muffled" and "very hard to hear"....( I read that if you take out the rubber covering over the microphone, it may help to improve the sound). I willing to do this to help out on the sound.
Also, the manual said that you can insert up to a 4GB card, not so, it will not work!
I wasted money purchasing a 4GB card and had to buy a 2GB card too since I couldn't return the other one once I opened it up.!!!
For the price of this cam, I can't complain....good price... Like I said, improvement on the microphone is a must.....!!!!
(If you want a cam for skydiving, underwater, fishing, etc where sound is not a primary thing, then this cam is great for the job!)...

Took this camera to war... Did OK but some of the plastic parts took a beating from the ruthless and relentless sun, then the horrible winters in the mountains and it broke down a little. But a little rigging here and there and it was fine every time I needed it. The waterproof part worked out for me as it also kept out dirt and sand , snow... Just get a little more memory and it's an inexpensive way to record.I can't seem to get spare parts for it now that I need it again. That's the only problem I can report. Still trying and have few things to still fix. Good, tough, simple little camera I enjoy it still.
