I have never been able to get a signal through this unit. I rechecked my cables. Sent in for warranty repair. Same unit sent back with no problem found. Yet my Zenith DTT901 works great. I bought this digital converter box for a TV at my work's breakroom. The unit is half the size of the box it comes in, it includes a remote, RCA (red/white/yellow) cables and the instructions. You will also need to add an atenna (to the unit) to get better reception of channels if the signal is not strong (I connected a dollar store atenna to it). Worth the price and, in my case, required to watch the TV. You cant g wrong with this product.Digital camera Review: Doesn't store channels

Bad Digital connection, didn't last not even a year. Over heats, connection always goes down. I'm not even a t.v. person, I only watch the news. I didn't even use it enough for it to both over heat or die. No exaggeration, please DO NOT waste your money on this. Forced to buy this box after I had already redeemed my $[...] coupons with Amazon and this was the only box that was approved at the time. We set the boxes up on the kids televisions in their rooms. It is an easy setup (which is the only good thing that I can say about it) but it takes about 15 to 18 minutes to scan the channels. According to the instructions, it should take 5 to 8 minutes. It says that it picks up about 13-15 channels, but out of those 13-15, only about 5 channels come in clearly enough to actually watch them. If you turn the box off (in standby mode)you have to go through the whole channel scan process again (another 15-18 mins).I have two boxes, and it is the same way with both. I just want to warn other consumers not to make the same mistake that we did by choosing this piece of crap box. My grandmother has a Magnavox converter box that I set up for her and it is a much better product. It is an easy setup, quick channel scan process and very clear picture. I am just going to call it a loss and toss out the Access HD 1080 boxes. They are a complete waste of time, effort and money.
