Digital camera Review: doesn't work, where my Samsung does

My mother gave me this after hooking it to her TV, and it said the signal was weak. She decided to stick to cable. I hooked it up in place of the Samsung SIR-T41 I've had for three years or so now, which gets about a dozen channels off my huge Realistic antenna (with mast mounted amp). It said this antenna signal was weak, too. Somehow, I don't think so. Maybe it would work if I bought an antenna from Access HD, too, to go with it, I don't know. What I DO know is there are units out there that work much, much better, using my current antenna, so I'm not gonna invest a dime to find out. I order two converter boxes, was charged for two converter boxes, but did not receive the one that was misdirected. I have tried more times than I care to remember to contact Amazon and USPS to no avail. Although it only cost under $15.00 it is disgraceful that there is no one that can be depended upon any more.Digital camera Review: good buy

I bought this with a coupon and have been very pleased with it so far but you do have to have your television hooked up to an antenia to pick up any channels or go buy one of the new little smaller ones.Digital camera Review: No way if I have to pay $50!!!!

I got this thing for a month or so... It was the only choice I got back then, and I was panic to get the converter before the switching date, otherwise I will definitely study more and try to get the better one :-P
OK, here are the things:
The good:
1. Cheap (~10 bucks after coupon)
2. Easy to install and set.
3. Does work as advertise!
The bad:
1. Very slow start-up (7-8 seconds)
2. After a month of slightly used... the 'on/off' button on the remote controller doesn't work any more.
3. Very flimsy built... both the converter box itself and the remote unit.
Overall, as I said above, it does work and I think perhaps that enough. I don't know how much I can expected from this cheap little thing ... but I still keep my finger crossed and hope that it will work forever! Anyway, please make sure you study others' reviews and other models as well before making any decision, especially now you have time until June. Good luck!
Digital camera Review: The price is low but the quality is better than I anticipate.

I am enjoying digital TV programs on my old TV (almost 10 years old) attached to this converter box. Since I am not crazy about watching TV, I am very satisfied with this product. With the government help, I paid only $7.99 (free shipping/handling). Before using this, people said that almost any converter box can make your old TV better in quality. That is true in my case.
