I wanted a simple Telephone Line tester to check for Tip and Ring Polarity -Tip is the ground side (positive) and Ring is the battery (negative) side of a phone circui; and this unit is just the ticket. Its simple to use and verifies that the wires are correctly wired. its a great little unit. It fits in tool kit to check customer wiring.
