Digital camera Review: Best after-market strap I've found (but not perfect)

This strap is more convenient than most, since you don't have to fasten/unfasten a buckle every time you hang your second bag from the strap. Instead, you fasten this strap to your rolling bag with a buckle, then just hang your second bag from the u-shaped hook. The design/concept is very similar to the hanging hooks on the original TravelPro Rollaboard bags.
In a nutshell, this is definitely the best second-bag strap I've found.
Having said that, there are four things that could make it better:
1) The little flap that flips over the hook (presumably to keep the hanging bag from popping off) is a waste and a nuisance. The bags own weight will hold it on, and the little flap just flips closed on its own at times. This isn't a big deal -- just a "feature" that never should have been added. You can easily break off the flap.
2) I wonder about the durability. I wish the hook were metal. If the plastic breaks on a long trip, it would be bad. Regular buckle straps don't have this same vulnerability.
3) The top edge of the "U" is sharper than I'd like. A couple of times I've gotten my fingers between the edge of the hook and my briefcase as I was hanging it. This isn't a serious safety problem, just an annoying result of the hanger being plastic (the hanger on my old TravelPro Rollaboard suitcase was made of rounded metal and I never scraped my fingers in 20 years of use).
3) The shipping costs from Brookstone are very high. I wish this were available through Amazon-handled distribution to get the overall cost down.
