Digital camera reviews of Adesso Easy Cat 2 Button Glidepoint Touchpad (Black)Digital camera Review: Quality is the Worst returned/replaced broken again Summary: 1 Stars
I purchased the Easy Cat a year ago. Just like the other reviewers have stated the click buttons are poor quality, just the cheapest part they can find in China. The two click buttons stopped working within a couple of months. I returned it to the company which took about 6 e-mails as no one would answer the phone. They first time they sent the wrong replacement so I had to return it again. Then I finally got the replacement. Guess what? the click button on the left stopped working just the same as the first one 5 months later.
You will notice that when the click switch starts to fail (and it will) that when you depress it you will start to get intermittent results causing you to have to click multiple times. Then it will just stop working. These touchpads have virtually no quality and they are not cheap for a mouse. So they overcharge for a product that will last you 6-months-1year then the front switches will break as designed. So realize they will break soon after the warranty expires and the company is very hard to deal with.
Initially it was a great concept but how do you do business with a company that knows it is shipping a fundamentally defective product? If you have any doubts about what this company is like to deal with, look up the company's phone number and try to get someone to answer the phone in the RMA department. They have got this down to a science. Try to find another manufacturer. Amazon should discountinue this product until the manufacturer fixes the defective switches.

This is a good product that allows you to redistribute some of the workload from the right to left hand, for typers with tendonitis or carpel tunnel syndrone.
Digital camera Review: So much better than a mouse Summary: 5 Stars
I cannot use a mouse due to repetitive stress injury, and I have found the Easy Cat to be a perfect alternative to a mouse. I have used it successfully with both PCs and Macs, and it allows me to navigate painlessly and efficiently. It is sensitive to a light touch, but it is not excessively sensitive. It is lightweight and can be placed pretty much anywhere...desk, lap, or the arm of my desk chair. It requires no setup...just plug it into a USB drive and it is ready to go. I am so dependent on the Easy Cat that I bought a spare just in case the product is ever unavailable. I highly recommend the Easy Cat for anyone who wants to navigate by touch pad while continuing to use a keyboard that lacks one.
Digital camera Review: THE BEST MOUSE EVER! Summary: 5 Stars
This is my third Cirque Touchpad! I absolutely LOVE it! I initially purchased the first one because I have small hands and the mouse just felt too bulky in my small hand .. when I got the first Touchpad I found it SO easy to use and convenient I just never even considered going back to a mouse when I purchased new computers. Then as I started to have rotator cuff pain AND surgery .. it was a life saver! It was a really wonderful method because as the pain evolved the Touchpad was easy on the shoulder .. then in time with the surgery I could easily switch to the other hand without much effort when I had surgery on the bad shoulder .. and I am NOT ambidextrous!
I would recommend the Touchpad to anyone looking to avoid damage to hands/wrists/shoulders .. you may be young today .. but with the years of wear and tear on your body with computer use .. you may be amazed at how quickly that gorgeous body of yours may wear out .. really! Take it from someone your grandmother's age! Who is STILL pretty gorgeous! (According to Grandpa!)
Digital camera Review: Tends to tip Summary: 3 Stars
I like having a touchpad that gives me just the features I need. For those purposes, this product serves me well. The pad is small but of sufficient size to do what I need. My issue is with the design. When I depress a button, the EasyCat tends to tip. I prefer to use the buttons, rather than tapping to click, so the tipping is a problem. It also makes highlighting difficult. I learned to manipulate it so that the tipping doesn't happen very often but I shouldn't have to. I was also disappointed that the USB cable connects at the side rather than at the back. I'm living with the annoyances because I like the simple features, but I can't recommend this product because it's designed so poorly. I did enjoy using another Adesso product previously, however, so I would consider buying an Adesso touchpad with a better functioning design in the future.
