When I first read the reviews for this item, I was worried the product was of mediocre fabrication. Once I received this item, I was pleased to find it more substantial in build. Either they improved the product quality or the other negative-reviewers just had a few lemons.
I found the threads to turn on my filters with ease and did so smoothly. They are firm and solid and do not bend and that assures me the filters inbetween are protected. Even my thick-glassed spot-focus filter fits under the cap without making contact on the cap.
I really like that I can find and easily select the filter I need. Fits nicely into my accessory case or pocket.
I also own the 77mm version of this as well as this 58mm filter Stack-cap.
Very pleased with both stack-caps - Highly Recommended!!!
