Bought this for my daughter's trip to Rome since her Apple IPOD European adapter was never returned by another student from a previous trip. The adapter worked fine with no problems in the hotel she stayed in. I was traveling to the UK. I needed an adapter for my U.S. Macbook Pro. I went into Apple, and was provided with their beautiful package for their Worldwide adapter for $50.00. I figured that was excessive, and hit Amazon. These things can be tricky sometimes, and I've blown out all kinds of appliances in the UK with what I thought were the right devices to do the job, and I did not want to make the same mistake with the MBP. I would have wanted to be more assured that this was the correct product, but took the risk. When I plugged in to the UK outlet I was very relieved to see the green light come on.Digital camera Review: Awesome adapter at an amazingly cheap price !!

The Universal travel adapter was my life saver, since I'm quite the careless human who didn't plan his international travel with such issues in mind. I use an Indian cellphone charger (and other devices like laptop, electric shaver,camera etc), and needless to say I was in big trouble when i traveled to the US with my original charger. Amazon shipped my charger pretty quickly and saved my irresponsible a$$ :).
As far as the adapter goes, its design is compact and brilliant. I've never had any issues with it. The lock for the prongs are sturdy and the overall product feels stable and dependable.

I recently went to Ireland and this adapter worked wonderfully! One of the girls I went with bought a more expensive adapter and it kept falling out of the wall, she ended up sharing mine!
