Since I've experienced Altec Lansing stereo performance in my car, I hoped the same outstanding performance and satisfication would apply to the Zune docking station. When my son opened it for his birthday and set it up, I was astonished! The sound was crisp, balanced, and enjoyable for all to listen! Another great Altec Lansing product! I was very disappointed in this product. When I received the system, it would not work. I then plugged it into an outlet in the kitchen and it worked well. I then took it to the bedroom and it would not play.I checked plugs in the bedroom and finally faound one where it would play. It worked for awhile and then it would not turn off. None of the buttons would work. I sent it back to the company on March 13th. 2008. I have yet to receive any news about the unit as of April 5th. 2008.It is a shame that this didn't work because there a just not alot of players for the zune.Digital camera Review: Altec Lansing M604 System for Zune

This system puts out great sound, even though it's small and compact and can go anywhere with you. It doesn't get distorted at high volumes and has a nice balanced sound. I have two of these types of speaker units, one for an IPod (Bose brand) and this Altec Lansing unit for the Zune. The has a nice sleek design and sounds great. Compaing the two, the Altec Lansing has much better sound quality over the Bose unit. I highly recomend this unit, as I am very happy with it's over all performance.
