I already had the bose speakers that cost me many times more than these speakers did. Nevertheless, I am comparing these speakers with Bose speakers. I am wondering why I ever bought the Bose speakers. These speakers deliver the same quality of sound at fraction of the price! I read the reviews but did not believe that these speakers could be that good, but they are. If you have plenty of money to throw around, sure go ahead and buy the Bose speakers, but if you are a bit careful about your money then these speakers will satisfy you just the same. Do note that I am a Bose fan. I have plenty of Bose products that I have bought over the years, but for iPod speakers I recommend these speakers.Digital camera Review: Great!

I have been very pleased with this product. I bought it to play my ipod in my classroom, and the audio quality is more than adequate. It sounds great in my apartment too, but I wouldn't expect it to be enough to fill an entire house with sound. You can turn it up fairly loud without distortion, and it's very easy to use and operate. Looking back, I wish I had bought something with a remote control (which this doesn't have), but overall, a great buy.Digital camera Review: Greatt item for the price.

This is a really great item for the price we paid. Actually, I happened to catch this when the price was $38 + shipping...with the regular price at $149. Once I received it, which was very quickly, it sounded so good, that I wanted to buy one of my other kids one, and when I got back on amazon, the price was up to $98...so I waited. It went down to $41 + shipping....quite the steal. Good sound for a bedroom!...and for travel! Love it. Very happy. Quality better than what I paid for! (My daughter had the older version (and bigger)than this, so I believe Altec Lansing puts out some decent products.). The sound is of good quality for compact easy to pack speakers. Nice tone and range. Sufficient volume for an average sized room. Perfect for a hotel,cruise ship cabin or college dorm. I have always liked Altec Lansing speakers and this is no exception. Comes with an excellent well padded travel case. I had a little battery powered speaker for my iPods and it worked pretty well. It relied on a headphone jack so it would work with most of the different audio players around. I hated to have to replace my batteries all the time so when I saw that the iM5 was so cheap I knew it would be perfect for me. I does both A/C and battery power. It even has an auxiliary port for my iPod Shuffle. It is small and potable, and even works with my iPod touch.
