Except for the first two times I plugged it in nothing happened, thought it didn't work to be honest but a couple days later I retried and the radio came right up. It is all it says it is however most of the radio stations seem to be on par with a b movie. This would be great for someone in America to listen to news in their home country but I dont really find any outstanding stations so far. For instance one station for upstate NY and I know of many that do broadcast over the net. It would be great if you could enter stations for them to add into it but I dont see that option. All in all its a fun toy and beats surfing the net to find stations you can look by genre, country or top 10 or do a search.Digital camera Review: Didn't work

When I plugged this into XP Pro, nothing happened. When I plugged it into Vista, I got a message saying that it was an unknown device.
I phoned J&R and they asked me if I wanted to troubleshoot the problem. I said I didn't have time for that -- I had expected it to work. They issued a return authorization number and I returned it.

Received this item as a gift. Very thoughtful, but completely useless.
I use Macs exclusively at home, so right off the bat, I'm in trouble as it doesn't support Mac OS. I have two Windows XP computers for work, and tried both. Neither work. One doesn't recognize it at all, the other does, but along with the application starting I get new Explorer windows popping open every 2-3 seconds over top of the app... never saw such behavior before. Can't get to the app due to the Explorer windows, so never got to try it.
The bigger question is why does anyone need this silly thing anyway? iTunes has hundreds of radio stations, so does Windows Media Player, Winamp, etc. [...].

I can't get it to load on my vista laptop. Wrote an email to tech support and never got a reply. I bought it with the Alurtek Radio and discovered it will not work with the radio. (It was never intended to). I won't send it back, not worth the trouble. I'll just reformat it and use at as plain old dongle...
Love the Radio. Great product. Everything works as advertised... Good sound...
