I travel on business trips and find myself using my laptop more and more for music to work by or relax. There are only a couple of streaming radio stations I use and know them by heart but this product has changed the way I listen to music on the radio. Now when I travel it's so simple to plug in the Alurtek to my USB port, scroll through the pull down menu and select a genre of music to listen to. This is a neat little gadget but, it's frustrating to use at times. It installed OK and worked very well (the first time.) Now, every time I want to use it I have to figure out some new way of getting it started.
There are NO instructions of any kind so you're on your own and, once installed, I still have not figured out how to get it to tune the entire spectrum of stations. It displays a few stations when it opens and I still can't figure out how to get to other stations that it has but is not displaying.
It looks like a neat little gift idea but you are buying a bit of frustration.

This is so easy to use and has great reception (depending on your wireless service), I bought 3 - one for myself, one for my son-in-law, and one to keep at work. It does everything the ad says it does but better. Just plug it in your computer's usb port and off you go. News and music from all over the world just as clear as the stations from 20 miles away. This works perfectly with my Win Vista box (have not tried it with other OS's). I just plugged it in, and a few seconds later, the internet radio interface came up where you can search by genre, country, etc. I had some freinds and relatives over last night when I hooked it up, and in about a minute we were grooving and dancing to this Euro/Dance/Techno station from the Netherlands that was playing some fantastic music i've never heard before! Even my 5 year old was into it! We also tried pulling up some Greek music stations for my father-in-law (who is Greek), and he was blown away by the selection. The sound quality was great as well (for an internet radio station), and this is coming from an audiophile like myself. All in all, a phenomenal product that will open up tons of new music and alternate language programming possibilities for you!
