Digital camera Review: A real comfort and delight for my mother!

My 91-yr-old mother had given up talking on the phone due to her impaired hearing. She hears maybe half of what is said directly to her, face-to-face, with her hearing aids in place. Without the hearing aids, she hears nothing. The Ameriphone XL50 allows her to leave in her hearing aids and have a conversation with anyone, anywhere in the world, with both parties hearing every word spoken. She is delighted to keep in touch with her brother in Great Britain, her son in California, and me on my cellphone at the neighborhood grocery store. She doesn't care about fancy features; she just wants to be able to dial a number and hear a voice! To her, it means renewing contacts and independent personal safety.
