I have two of these external enclosures for my older SATA drives. I am running Win7 x64. Installing the drives into the enclosure was not hard but the three-pin power/disk activity LED connector is a little tricky to connect. Be aware that this enclosure supports drives only up to 1 TB. The enclosures definitely get warm during operation but not hot. As with all external devices, ensure you dismount it from Windows prior to disconnecting it and powering down.Digital camera Review: Antec Rules!

I have 2 computers built on Antec Cases. Antec products are well made and look excellent. I bought 2 of these and installed 500gb WD HDDs in each. I use one with my notebook on the road and one as a back up drive for my main desktop system. If you need an external hard disk enclosure.
