The Antec looks great and works as advertised. Even with a "Batman signal" as its power/disk activity light, which I think looks cool, the enclosure is very attractive. This is an excellent product for the price! You definitely want to buy this, especially if you have a big hard disk (like 1.5 TB Seagate drive in my case).
Hooking up the whole thing barely took 10 minutes. A couple of screws wouldn't fit correctly, but that's a minor thing considering it has nothing to do with the usage.
The drive was recognized immediately without any issues on my Vista as well as Linux machine, which shows the support they claim isn't a farce.
I'll summarize the pros and cons for easy reading:
Pros:
- Supports high capacity drives unlike most USB enclosures out there
- Lightweight
- No noise as there is no fan
- Excellent finish
- Cheap
- Very cool white status / power light
Cons:
- None really except that a couple of screws didn't fit in straight away
Overall I would rate this as a very good buy and would definitely buy again!

These are very generic devices. We're talking a fanless block of aluminum. So the differentiators are the surrounding devices. Here's a quick summary:
1. Really big, ugly, wall wart plug. They must have had a reason. Maybe they got a million for free? Really, this is dumb and reason enough to look at alternatives.
2. Looks nice. Vertical orientation for best cooling.
3. Comes with USB cable. The cradle has an "LED plug", maybe for a status light, but none was included. There's no status light at all.
4. Screws work, super easy to assemble.
Would be 4 stars but for the wall plug, 5 stars if it had a status light.
