Digital camera Review: A bit tricky but it worked!

My HP laptop wouldn't power up so I went to an office superstore and their tech people extracted the hard drive and put it into this enclosure. There was NO instruction manual except for a few pictures of how to enclose the hard drive! There was NO further instruction on how to connect the enclosure to the computer. The website was of little help as it required you to enter your information and describe the problem...I suppose for tech support to get back to me so it was not a timely solution for me.
I first tried plugging the mini-usb plug into the enclosure and the regular size BLACK USB plug into the computer. The blue light came on. Yet, there was no response from my computer. It was as if I never plugged it in! Then, I read the Amazon reviews and one of the reviewers mentioned that you also need to plug in the RED USB plug as well. I ventured to plug in the RED USB plug and it worked like a charm! It would seem that RED USB plug is the one that connects the data while the BLACK USB plug is for power. I now have my old hard drive back! So, at the end, this product worked!
Two things I didn't like about this product - 1) no manual with the product. I didn't even find the manual on Antec's website, and 2) The hard drive does seem to jiggle a bit when I turned the enclosure upside down. It didn't affect the hard drive after I turned it back but it's unnerving to hear the hard drive jiggle like that. Shouldn't it be firmly affixed into the enclosure?
This is my first hard drive enclosure so I can't compare it to others both in terms of price or quality. I am just grateful that I did get it to work eventhough it was not very intuitive that you have to plug in both RED and BLACK USB plugs. Hopefully this review will help those of you with the same issue.
