I've owned this notebook cooler for almost a year now. It has performed perfectly. It always keeps my notebook/laptop (14.1'') at the perfect temperature, even through extended gaming sessions. It has a great sturdy construction, nice rubber grips, and looks awesome.
The only downsides to it would be the size/portability, and the noise. The size is just right for my laptop, and since I don't move it around very much, it hasn't ever been an issue for me. I can see that it could be a problem for others. It isn't the quietest, but still manages volume quite well. Listening to music or really anything through speakers/headphones will easily overpower the noise.
Overall, definitely a great product for it's cost. I would recommend this to everyone.

This cooler works perfectly with my computer. I tried using coolers with the fans that pushed the hot air down but they never completely cooled my computer. I have an HP Notebook and it always seems to be over heated but this cooler works perfectly because it sucks in the hot air with the metal top and then disperses it on the sides. I am utterly amazed at the effectiveness of this product. My notebook, after processing hours of video, used to be quite warm, almost hot. The Antec Notebook Cooler reduced the heat buildup of my notebook with similar usage by 75 percent! The contemporary styling and low noise output make this a great product as well. An excellent product. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and works well with my 17" HP laptop.
What I didn't expect, but like is the little storage below for the power cable when it's not in use.
The ability to use the USB it's pulling power from is a BIG PLUS.
It's silent and light weight. I've recommended for many friends as it extends the life of your laptop.
