Digital camera reviews of Apc Universal Battery, 10WH

Digital camera Review: Great Battery from a trusted brand
Summary: 4 Stars

Even though APC has been bought by a French company (boo!) the quality has yet to suffer. A great battery that keeps my 8 gig Ipod touch in service for hours on end. Yes, you do have to push the button to get the juice flowing every 15 minutes, but that is much less of an issue than some make it out to be. I think the main purpose for this battery is to keep your device working while you are using it as opposed to setting it and forgetting it to charge your device.

Digital camera Review: Great Idea, poorly executed......
Summary: 2 Stars

The APC UPB10 powerpack comes with no cabling, no 'nuthin. Just a battery that shuts off after 15 minutes of runtime. I've been using it as a paperweight.

Digital camera Review: Great backup battery so far
Summary: 5 Stars

I've used this only a couple of times and so far I'm impressed. It's very sleek and not boxy as the pictures might suggest. ONE fully charged battery serves to recharge the iphone TWICE, so it's great on long trips where you might not be close to electricity for a while. It's also great if your power goes out (as it did with Hurricane Ike recently) and you're on the phone a lot contacting family, electric company, etc.

Digital camera Review: Great charger!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this for a long trip where I would be unable to charge things during the day. I used it to recharge my iphone and GPS. It charged each in a short amount of time. This thing is so small and convenient, I now carry it with me all the time, just in case my iphone gives out during the day.

Digital camera Review: Great for SOME products
Summary: 5 Stars

I picked one of these up at Frys for $20. It's a good unit, giving me a solid 10 hours of life on my iPhone 3G before even touching the internal battery.

I just upgraded to an iPhone4 and the battery isn't recognized. I plug in, nothing happens. I'm guessing there's something weird in the new phone. Great for older ones though. Almost essential.
