Digital camera Review: Great till it broke

Worked great charging my iphone twice. Then it wouldn't recharge. Spoke with APC customer service for 40 minutes before they finally decided they needed to replace the unit.
Update 12/15/2008: Just wanted to update this to say that the replacement unit also quit taking a charge. I won't be asking for yet another replacement.

I've seen so many alternatives on the market, but nothing comes close to this in terms of size (small) and power (10Wh!)
This recharges my Windows Mobile cellphone AND my ipod touch and still has juice left over... Many of the alternatives that I've seen have 1/3 of the power.
Definite keeper in my gadget bag...

This product is absolutely great. It's a lot smaller and lighter than I expected to be - it is about the size of a deck of cards but 1/2 the thickness. This charges any gear I have that has a USB cord. That includes my cell phone (Samsung Instinct) both iPods (Shuffle and mini) and my Archos 605 video player. I used this on a 3 week trip to Europe. The side benefit to the extended battery life is that I could also leave the bulky a/c adapters at home, and just bring the USB charging cords for all of my gadgets. The APC battery backup charges well and doesn't "fry" my devices. It knows to stop charging once the battery is full. There is an indicator light to show you when the device is fully charged and how much charge is remaining when it's in use. I highly recommend this for any road warrior or gadget lover.
