I ordered this for my mother who is a bit older and technologically challenged. I wanted to provide a way for her to recharge the iPod we gave her for Christmas since she doesn't have a computer. And she regularly makes trips to the beach and her new hybrid car has a hookup for her iPod but the power connection wasn't convenient and I thought she could also use it on those trips. It works great!! Out of the box, no problems at all. It's even easy for her to hookup and recharge. The LCD indicator lets her know when it's getting low on power, but so far that hasn't been a problem. I highly recommend it and plan to get one for myself!!Digital camera Review: Great product

I bought one of these for around $10 when Circuit City was closing. I've had it for over a year and I love it. It surprises me how long it lasts. I can fully charge my iPhone at least twice on one charge. After that I usually will go ahead and recharge the APC so I'm not sure how much longer it would last. It's very lightweight and I carry it with me in my purse. I use my iPhone constantly and don't want to be caught with a dead or low battery with no way to charge it so this is great!Digital camera Review: Great product

I bought this primarily to use during travel to extend the operating time of my iPhone. In my unofficial tests, this power pack completely recharged the iPhone (which was below 20% power) twice before needing to be plugged in itself. It's lightweight, simple to use, and it looks nice...what more could you ask? Buy one if you need to charge USB devices!
