I've had my Airport Express for about 6 months now, we've got an iMac, a macbook, and an old HP pavillion all networked in through it and it works like a charm. The setup was reasonably easy and the day to day operation is pretty much transparent to the user. The only real problem I've encountered is when (like an idiot) I forgot my password to the base station and had to reset everything. But that was operator error. This is an excellent piece of hardware at a truely bargain price considering it's capabilities. I would recommend it to anyone who has broadband and a laptop, or multiple computers.Digital camera Review: Airport Express -- Setup Was a Breeze

I ordered an Airport Express with the iBook that I purchased from Amazon. It was 10 minutes from the moment I opened the carton to when my wireless network was running. I was quite impressed with the ease of setting this up. You launch the Airport Setup Assistant, answer a few configuration questions, set your password, and you're wireless!
Signal strength has been good throughout my house. The Airport's elegant design and small size are also nice features. It's apparent that thoughtfulness and innovation went into this product's creation.
I'm now considering getting a second Airport Express to keep inside my iBook's travel case. It would come in handy on the road.

Make sure you fully understand wirelss connections if you plan to purchase this product. I intended to use the Airport strictly to stream music to my home stereo via iTunes and was unable to complete the connection successfully. The product may very well do what Apple claims it can but the setup instructions are vague to say the least and the only product support available is an online discussion forum that is total potluck. I recommend checking out the discusion group on the Apple website regarding the lifespan of the product (usually stops working after about one year!).Digital camera Review: Airport Express has limitations

This PIECE OF CRAP does not work, PERIOD. All I wanted to do was listen to music from iTunes in my living room. All I've accomplished is wasting my time and money. I've used the set-up assistant several times, and each time my Mac says it is all set up and ready to go, but the yellow light on the unit keeps blinking. (It's supposed to turn green to indicate the thing is working.) I've tried moving it right next to my Mac (the instructions tell you it must be within range, but they do not tell you what that range happens to be!), then resetting it and going thru the set-up process again and again, but it's just a waste of time. Don't waste your money on this garbage.
