My second Airport died the other day with no hope to revive. This is the last time I'll buy it on the sole basis that it is an Apple product. I really liked the USB port, but with wireless printers, that need is gone. Bought it, installed it. We use Macs (3) and PCs (2) with it. OS 10.4, 10.5, Windows XP Pro. No problems at first. Now it drops the connection at least once a day. A major pain and disappointment.Digital camera Review: A new world for us

We were having trouble accessing the internet with our old router and we suspected it was the cable company's modem. But I decided to try this router and we are all amazed by the speed. While our house is not huge, we are on three floors and there are many small rooms. Now the wireless works perfectly in every room of the house. It was easy to set up and since we have installed this, about a month ago so far, there has not been one incident of a slow download or connectivity issue! I only give this four stars because I was just a bit disappointed that there are only 4 ethernet connections in this device including the source connection. So that leaves only three ethernet connections once the cable modem is plugged in. The computer that I am using now is not wireless and takes up one on those connections. Then I have two printers that take up the other two connections. So, if I needed another connections sometime later on, I don't have it available. So nothing is perfect, but this router sure comes darn close. My wife, my daughter, my son and I all have wireless computers and devices that we all use constantly and we have all breathed a very large sigh or relief knowing that the connectivity will be there thanks to this router. This device is easy to instal, good quality materials, and perfect size and design. Follow the instructions and you'll enjoy a good wireless system at home. If you consider to buy it... just buy it! (I'm new into Mac stuff and I'm having a good time with their technology - although in my job they use Microsoft, in my house Mac is the leader).
