Misleading instructions. I needed to use two ethernets. The instructions only mentioned using one router. It would've been very simple to have just mentioned that two ethernets would be needed to complete the circuit.Digital camera Review: Awesome, Easy, workhorse router

I have used every router under the sun, most of them in the harsh unforgiving desert of Iraq. I can tell you from experience which companies make the worst and best routers and have found that brand is the most important indicator of quality and performance. Apple and Linksys rule the roost when it comes to quality and performance. But I continue to buy apple routers for both my office and home. They are reliable, super easy to use and have great performance.
The best features of this router:
- Airport Time Machine backups, just plug in a USB disk and you can wirelessly back up via Time Machine
- Daisy Chain routers- it is simple to add extra Airport routes to you network to expand coverage or introduce new features such as wireless printing or AirPlay
- Gigabit Ethernet- I have a server at home with tons of video files, music and pics, the Gigabit Ethernet moves the data fast over a wired network
- Simple setup UI

I've gone through my share of routers and none have come close to the Airport Extreme when it comes to setup ease and performance. Yes it costs a little more than other solutions, but it also does more, and you can set it up and forget it. Mine has given me flawless wireless performance across a wide range of WiFi devices. ... but after reading a batch of earlier reviews, I find I'm out of my league! I have nothing technical to add. I bought the AirPort Extreme at an Apple Store in a mall, hoping to get fewer delays and faster loads than I was getting from my DSL through my small, simple NetGear router. And that's what I've gotten, so I'm highly satisfied. But I should have purchased though Mother Amazoo; I'd have saved fifty bucks.
