Digital camera reviews of Apple Bluetooth Wireless Mighty Mouse

Digital camera Review: Great Mouse But Slow On Movement due to weight of mouse
Summary: 4 Stars

This is a great mouse and the trackball to scroll is awesome, however the only flaw is that the mouse is very heavy in comparison to other mice on the market, this makes it harder to get used to moving around on the pad. Hope this helps anyone. great mouse.

Digital camera Review: Great Mouse, Great Support (was: Weak Range)
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this mouse as an upgrade from an Apple Wireless mouse (one button, LED, bluetooth).

This mouse is infinitely superior in terms of functionality. Awesome tracking, "three" buttons, integrated Expose. Nice. The scroll ball is absolutely brilliant.

The problem with this mouse is that the range and sensitivity to interference are terrible. It stutters when it is ten feet from the Mac. It won't really work at all if it's near any other wireless device. I used the old wireless in the exact same configuration as the Mighty, and it had none of the problems.

Highly recommended if it's going to be within arms reach of your Mac and you don't use any other wireless gear in this band.

UPDATE: I ended up taking it to the Apple Store, and they replaced it because they couldn't get it to pair with any Mac in the store. The replacement (the new rev with the white semi-circles on the sides) works perfectly! I'd change the rating to 5-stars if Amazon would let me.

Digital camera Review: Great Product but a bit of a Tight Squeeze
Summary: 5 Stars

First: I'm using this product with a MacBook Pro that was purchased right around the time that this is being written. Thus, it is unknown how this would work with a PC or an older Mac. Also, if you buy from Apple directly this runs you about 69, not 89.

"Squeezing" the side buttons to bring up Expose is a little tight, it takes some pressure and getting acquainted with. Otherwise, the product is great. Bought it several days ago: connects well and maintains signal, clicking is easy with right, left and scroll wheel clicking. You can scroll vertically and horizontally with the ball. Mouse works with one or two batteries, I would recommend buying some rechargeable ones to save money and the environment. Not sure about the products longevity but I can't see it failing unless I mistreat the thing.

Bottom line, is it worth the cost? I would say yes. No cord to mess with. No wireless usb plug-in thing to mess with. Those two things by themselves makes it worth it to me but also, the functionality with my Mac and the quality appears to be high. Good luck! :)

Digital camera Review: Great Wireless Mouse
Summary: 5 Stars

Another great Apple product. I use it at home with my MacBook. It was easy to setup. You can turn it off when not in use, or be lazy and just keep it on all the time, and replace the batteries every 4 months or so. I only turn it off when I am gone for more than a couple of days.

It did loose its connection with my laptop once, for whatever reason. It just took a couple of minutes to reinstall, and it has not acted up again.

I like the features more than my former corded mouse. It has a great feel, and the clicking action and scrolling (or click) action by the little roller ball on top provide great control. It is well designed.

Digital camera Review: Great but needs attentioon
Summary: 4 Stars

This is my 3rd mighty mouse-prior ones gave up scrolling capability--seems the ball gets jammed but when the mouse works, it is sensational. There is a knack to keeping the ball clean and mobile--Just hold on to your receipt!
