Digital camera Review: A disgrace to the name of Apple

First off, to all of you other reviewers of these earphones, the create your own review feature is not a place to leave seller feedback about how you did not recieve the pictured item. This review is for the stock iPod earbuds that come bundled with any iPod. I do not own an iPod, but was given the earbuds that come with an iPod by a friend who did not use them. The only reason I did not knock off all the stars is because these things DO look pretty cool, with the grayish cable. A big thing that I like (and probably the only thing I like) is that there is a single cable, not two cables superglued together, that comes from the plug. It then splits into two smaller cables that go to each earbud. The earbuds themselves are pathetic! There is some very thin gray rubber that comes in contact with your ear. That came off within about a month of regular use. After that these things lose half their coolness! There is also some gray rubber that covers where the cable goes into the bud. This will tear off quite easily. Also, a simple tug on this will bring the whole thing off. Also the grill part came off on one earbud and now will not stay on withour some super glue or something. Basically, if I were to buy an iPod, after I opened the box I would immediately insert the "cool-looking" iPod earbuds into the incinerator and turn the dial to "Completely destroy and disintegrate". DO NOT BUY!!!!!!! You WILL regret it! Instead of compromising and settling for the stock iPod buds, try these. They are much better and come in many colors to match any iPod: JVC HA-F140-B Gumy Earbuds (Olive Black).

I do have to say that these are probably the best stock earbuds out there. It just proves that stock earbuds are absolutely no good. I think the only ones that could possibly best these are the ones included with the Sony Walkman X or the Sony Walkman NW-A840, which is only available in Asia.

I thoroughly enjoy my new Apple earphones! The process was very easy to go through to get them. They were cheap in price, but not cheap in quality. THe headphones were packaged securely and looked like they had came right out of the store. I wish I would've bought more than 1 pair!
